Christian Counseling

Image of a cross made out of logs

You know you're supposed to trust God with it. You've prayed. You've tried to surrender the worry, the fear, the overthinking. And then you wake up the next morning and it's all still there.

That's not a lack of faith. It's not God being silent or turning away. It's being human. Faith and therapy aren't in conflict. Sometimes God works through both.

And that's exactly the kind of thing therapy can help with.

What brings most people in

  • Feeling like anxiety or depression means something is spiritually wrong with them
  • Praying through it, not feeling better, and not knowing what to do next
  • Wanting therapy but worrying it goes against their faith
  • Not feeling safe being honest about this at church
  • Carrying it quietly for a long time because there was nowhere else to take it

What this looks like here

We are Christians. Not therapists who are okay with your faith, but people who live it and understand from the inside what it asks of people.

When faith is part of the work, it's treated with the same care and intention as everything else. That might look like untangling the guilt that comes from feeling anxious when you know you're supposed to trust God. Or figuring out how to hold your faith and your mental health in the same hand without one undermining the other.

The sessions are structured. The goals are real. And you don't have to leave any part of yourself at the door.

Is this a good fit?

This is for people who are tired of choosing between a good therapist and one who actually gets their faith. At Kingdom Counseling, you don't have to choose.

If you've been looking for that for a while, we would be honored to be part of what comes next.

Fees & logistics

Let's talk

If you've spent a long time looking for someone who gets it, both the clinical side and the faith side, that search doesn't have to continue. A free consultation call is a low-pressure way to ask questions, get a feel for the approach, and decide if this feels like the right fit. If it does, we would love to hear from you.
