Relationship Issues

A couple joyfully embraces in shallow water outdoors.

You're the one who keeps the peace. Who says yes when you mean no. Who feels responsible for everyone else's mood and spends hours replaying conversations wondering what you did wrong.

It's exhausting. And it's not just a personality trait. There's usually something deeper underneath it.

What brings most people in

  • Difficulty saying no without feeling guilty
  • Feeling responsible for everyone else's happiness
  • Bottling things up until it spills over
  • Shutting down or over explaining during conflict
  • Replaying conversations for days after they happen
  • Wondering if having boundaries is even allowed as a Christian

What this looks like here

Therapy focuses on you and your experience within relationships, not on fixing the other people in them. Using CBT, psychodynamic insight, and a family systems lens, Rayna helps clients understand where their relational patterns come from and what it would take to change them.

That kind of work takes honesty and structure. Both are present here.

For clients whose faith shapes how they think about relationships, forgiveness, boundaries, and conflict, that gets brought into the work too. Not as a workaround, but as something worth taking seriously.

Is this a good fit?

This is for adults who want to understand why they relate to people the way they do, not just learn a few communication tips. If you're ready to look at the patterns honestly and do something different, we would be glad to work through it with you.
